Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh remains in the headlines. Amid several controversies, he kicked off his Aura India Tour 2026 with a concert in Delhi on October 30, making fans dance to his songs. On stage, he also answered his silence over the protests after the NEET paper leak, saying without naming Abhijeet Dipke or CJP that nobody should teach Punjabis to fight.
After his Delhi performance at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Diljit did an Instagram live session in which he spoke about his upcoming tour, the controversies around him and other topics. During this, he revealed that he wanted to hold a concert in Bihar too, but was asked to take responsibility for handling the crowd.
The public apology from CJP's Abhijeet Dipke to Diljit Dosanjh came after Dipke had earlier mocked the singer. After hearing Diljit speak at the Delhi concert on Friday evening, Dipke said the singer is like his younger brother.
Bihar concert blocked over crowd responsibility
Diljit revealed on Instagram live that he had wanted to organise a concert in Bihar last year as well, but faced difficulty over crowd management. Speaking in Punjabi, he said they had tried to go to Bihar, and had tried the previous time too, but were told that handling the crowd would be difficult.
He said they were asked whether they would take responsibility for the crowd, and he replied that they could not do so, as that responsibility had to be taken by the organisers. Since that did not happen, they could not go there, he said.
Crowd management is a huge responsibility, says Diljit
Diljit also explained how big a responsibility managing the crowd at his concerts is. He said handling the crowd at a concert is a major responsibility in itself, which is why the question of who takes it on matters so much for a show to happen.
The Bihar disclosure adds a new chapter to Diljit's tour story, coming right after the Delhi opening where his remark and the CRPF jawan moment became talking points. The apology from Dipke, who had earlier mocked him, closes one controversy even as the Bihar concert question remains open.
