Ethanol in Petrol: Oil Companies Reject Karnataka's 31 Percent Claim
Public-sector oil marketers IOCL, BPCL and HPCL have rejected the Karnataka government's claim that petrol at some outlets contained up to 31.2 percent ethanol, saying the tests did not follow prescribed procedures.
