Two old CCTV videos have surfaced in the death case of Lucknow businessman Shiva Sharma, months before he died. The videos, dated May 20, 2026, show model Shraddha Dubey with Shiva and her sister Rashmi on the stairs of a flat, and Shraddha returning to the flat at 5:26 am in a party dress.

Shraddha and Rashmi are in jail in the case. The videos are from the Awadh Green Apartment in Lucknow, the same building from whose fourth floor Shiva fell to his death on October 9, 2026. The videos are from about four and a half months before his death.

What the two videos show

In the first video, Shraddha Dubey is seen holding Shiva Sharma's hand as they come down the stairs of the flat, with her sister Rashmi walking ahead of them.

In the second video, Shraddha is seen returning to the flat at about 5:26 in the morning, wearing a party dress.

Why the cameras were installed

The CCTV cameras in the flat were installed by flat owner Ajay Rai, who said he did so because of what he described as Shraddha's quarrelsome behaviour. Ajay claimed Shraddha used harsh and abusive language, and said she had objected to the cameras being installed. He also claimed that in many cases a man's suffering goes unheard.

The death and the allegations

Shiva Sharma, 28, who was in the cafe and food business, died on October 9, 2026 after falling from the fourth floor of the building. After his death, his mother Ranjana Sharma made serious allegations against Shraddha and Rashmi, claiming Shiva was held hostage and tortured before being pushed from the building by his live-in partner.

Ranjana also said Rashmi called her at about 8:30 pm saying Shiva had met with an accident, and that when she reached Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital no one was there, learning only about an hour and a half later that Shiva had been shifted to the medical college emergency. She said Shiva had injuries to his eye and jaw, bleeding from his nose, and injuries to his leg and ribs. Whether Shiva's fall was suicide or caused by someone else is under investigation, and the question of how he fell from the fourth floor remains open.

What happens next

The case is under investigation, with questions still open on how Shiva fell and whether his death was suicide or caused by someone else. Shraddha's bail plea has been rejected, with the court describing the offence as serious, and a crime scene recreation is planned in the case.
