Sakshi Shivdasani

Early life and education

Sakshi Shivdasani was born on 3 March 1997 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She grew up in Mumbai, where she completed her early education. She attended Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science and Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics for her junior college education. She subsequently attended K. C. College in Mumbai, where she pursued higher education in finance. She graduated with a degree in Finance. During her college years, Shivdasani developed an interest in modelling, fashion and entertainment. In 2013, she participated in the Miss Umang beauty pageant, where she reportedly reached the top five contestants.

Career

Modelling career. Shivdasani began her professional modelling career in 2016. Her early assignments included print photography and commercial advertising campaigns. She worked on an internal advertising campaign for Maybelline Cosmetics and appeared in a web advertisement for Uber Eats. She also participated in fashion shows and modelling events, walking the runway for designers including Jenny Dadlani. Her modelling assignments helped her gain experience in the fashion and advertising industries. In 2018, she reportedly worked as an associate at US Freedom Capital. During the same period, she became associated with TOABH Talent Management, a talent management agency representing models and entertainment professionals.

MTV Supermodel of the Year. In 2019, Shivdasani made her television debut as a contestant on the Indian modelling reality show MTV Supermodel of the Year. The programme featured aspiring models competing in a series of fashion, photography, runway and personality-based challenges. The show was presented by Malaika Arora and featured Milind Soman, Ujjwala Raut, Masaba Gupta and Anusha Dandekar as judges and mentors. The programme follows an informal conversational format in which the two hosts discuss subjects from their personal experiences and perspectives. Recent work. By 2025 and 2026, Shivdasani had established herself as a podcaster and digital creator in addition to her earlier modelling work. She continued producing social media content and hosting Moment of Silence with Naina Bhan. On 12 August 2026, she was featured in Cosmopolitan India in an interview titled "We put Sakshi Shivdasani through the Cosmo quiz and she did not hold back".
