Sharmila's 18 km Bridal Trek: Uttarakhand Bride Walks to In-Laws' Village, Asks CM Dhami for a Road
Her wedding procession reached as far as the road did, and then the road simply ended. Bride Sharmila walked the last 18 kilometres to her new home in her lehenga, and used the moment to ask the chief minister for what her village still lacks: a road.
